We will be holding a Christmas Blitz tournament on Monday 22nd December.
The details are:
- If you want to play, please arrive by 7:20 pm
- Kick-off at 7:30 pm
- No entry fee, no prizes
- 5 round Swiss
- Time control: 8 minutes + 2 seconds
- Touch move
- There will be a break between rounds 2 and 3 for pizza
- Finish time will be very roughly 9:45 pm.
Food and drink:
- I will be supplying a limited quantity of alcohol free drinks
- Beyond that, please feel free to bring your own drink, alcoholic or otherwise
- If you want to participate in pizza, please place your order with me early in the evening, and bring cash to cover your share
- There will be the usual free chocolates.
Greyfriars Fund Raising:
- Greyfriars have been really helpful to us recently regarding bookings for our extra room and the Rapidplay that will be held in June
- They asked if we could contribute to their fund raising for their community cafe
- I will have a collection box for that on the night.
- If you could contribute a couple of pounds (or more!) towards that, it would be much appreciated.
