15/2/21 Seven players from Ringwood participated in the first Dorset Online Rapidplay which was held on Sunday 14th March in place of the normal face-to-face Rapidplay event at Greyfriars.
The event went smoothly and overall the Ringwood players did quite well over the 7 rounds, scoring as follows:
Peter Anderson 6
Merlin Cork 4.5
Martin Clancy 4
Rob Davenport 3
Jack Baskett 3
Andy Baskett 2
Kenny Harman 1 (from just 2 games).
Merlin’s and Jack’s performances were excellent against much more experienced opposition.
